Texas Governor Rick Perry is so confident he did the right thing in executing Cameron Todd Willingham that he’s smothering the investigation into whether the man was actually innocent or not. And the US media are letting him get away with it. Don’t those who believe in the death penalty also believe it’s important that the people executed actually have committed the crimes for which they were convicted?
