Being pro choice makes you more of a democrat or what?

There are a lot more issues than reproductive rights you have to consider when attaching yourself to a political party. But, typically, Democrats are pro-choice while Republicans are anti-choice.

Being pro choice, by itself, doesn’t mean anything. The majority of Democrats and Independents are pro choice as are about 40% of republicans.

Usually Democrat.
And yes you are for killing babies. What do you think they do in an abortion. They don’t tickle the babies out of the mom. If the mom doesn’t want a baby use protection, or adoption.

NO, it doesn’t mean you’re a democrat or a republican.
That is one of many issues that would help to define your views, though, and they say that most people who are pro-choice are considered either liberal, democrat, or both…but not all.

typically it is a more democratic stand to take, but that does not necessarily make you a democrat. you might be more republican in others. just research and see what side you feel you relate to more, look at it as a whole, and that will help you decide .

Personally I’m an independent, but you can play the party politics if you want. I vote for the BEST Candidate, and I advice you to do the same. Sure I live in a State where the primary is basically meaningless so no reason to worry about voting in them for a candidate, but still the best way to go.

That issue has no bearing on your political party anymore…
because quite frankly, it’s not up for debate.
The “moral” minority has lost that one… now we are on to other issues… like the war.
Although being pro-choice is generally considered a Democrat stand-point, the parties tend to “fire up their bases” with issues like this and *** marriage and nothing really ever gets done either way.
The real issues are the ones you don’t hear about on TV. (unless you are one of the few Americans who can stand to watch an hour or more of CSPAN)

being pro-choice is a democratic stance on one issue. there are many politicians out there that although are pro-choice, might think same *** marriage shouldn’t be allowed. you should learn what several politicians think, then decide (if you choose to) what party to affiliate yourself with. or you could just vote on the issue, and not the party, and be independent.

Pro-Choice is definitely a more democratic view point. But how can you say you’re pro chioce but not for killing babies? What exactly do you think happens to those babies? They die, how is that not killing babies? I’d say you’re neither, you’re a murderer.

Choice is a personal decision not a political affiliation. One can be pro choice on an issue and be a republican or democrat or even an independent.
That’s what formed and has shaped this country…the fact that we have a personal choice in issues. We are sometimes required to assent to the personal choices of the majority while we are in the minority (like getting one president for 8 years and not ever having voted for him).
Pro choice declares to all (if you so choose to announce it) that you really think that pertinent issues such as abortion belong not to the body politic but to the individual who must make that choice. You are declaring that you have sufficient faith and respect for that person that when crunch times come that person will make the most appropriate decision FOR THEMSELVES.
